In a GSM X Tool shop, customers add funds to their balance and order from it. The payment gateway is how that money arrives, so it is worth setting up carefully and testing before you announce the shop.
Supported gateways
Under Payments Config in the admin panel you will find:
- Bangladesh: bKash, UddoktaPay, PayStation and Pay Gsm X Tool.
- Crypto: Binance Pay (BinanceC2C).
- Cards: Stripe and Stripe (MYR).
- India: Razorpay and UPI by Paytm.
- Africa: Paystack, GeniusPay and Lengo Pay.
- Sri Lanka: OnePay.
- Latin America: Mercado Pago and Pix.
- Manual Payment: the customer pays by hand and you confirm it.
Turn on only the gateways your customers actually use.
1. Get your credentials from the provider
Each gateway asks only for what it needs. Some examples:
- bKash: App Key, App Secret, Username and Password from your bKash merchant account.
- Binance Pay: API Key and Secret Key, plus your Binance Pay QR or its link.
- Stripe: the live Secret Key, the one that starts with
sk_live_. - Razorpay: Key ID and Key Secret.
- UddoktaPay: API Key and the API URL of your UddoktaPay panel.
Every gateway talks to its live endpoint. There is no sandbox switch that could be left on by mistake, so test with a small real payment.
2. Fill in the General Setting tab
- Gateway Status: Active to show it to customers.
- Currency: the currency this gateway charges in, for example BDT for bKash or USD for Stripe. This is required. Every payment is converted using this currency's rate, so check the rate under Settings › Currencies.
- Gateway Charge (%): the fee you pass on to the customer, if any.
- The credential fields for that gateway.
Secret fields that are already saved can be left blank to keep the stored value.
3. Set the add funds limits
On the Add Funds Limit tab, set the minimum and maximum a customer can add in one payment. Limits are in the gateway's own currency: a minimum of 500 on a BDT gateway means ৳500. Customers see the limit converted into their own currency. 0 means no limit.
4. Add a logo
On the Gateway Thumbnail tab, upload the gateway's logo. It is what customers see on the add funds page, and a familiar logo makes people more comfortable paying.
Manual Payment
Manual Payment has nothing to connect. Its whole setup is the Payment Note, which tells the customer how to pay, for example "Send money to bKash 01XXXXXXXXX and enter the transaction ID". You then confirm the payment from the admin panel. It is useful for methods you do not have a merchant API for, but every payment needs a person, so use an automatic gateway where you can.
Test before you open
- Add funds as a test customer with a small real amount.
- Check that the balance is credited with the right amount in the customer's currency.
- Check Logs › Payment Log to see the payment as the gateway reported it.
If a payment went through but the balance was not credited, the Payment Log is the first place to look. For the rest of the launch checklist, see starting an online GSM shop.
