Once your shop runs smoothly, other shops become your best customers. A reseller who orders through an API sends orders all day without anyone on either side typing an IMEI. GSM X Tool gives every shop a reseller API out of the box, so you can do this without writing any code.
Your shop speaks the format resellers already use
Every GSM X Tool shop answers on one endpoint in the Dhru Fusion API format, the standard the trade already uses. For a reseller this means there is nothing new to build. If they buy from another supplier today, connecting to you is a matter of changing a URL and a key in their own panel. If they run Dhru Fusion themselves, there is also a free GSM X Tool module for it on the Developers page.
Giving a reseller access
- The reseller registers on your shop like any customer.
- You put them in the right customer group, which sets their prices.
- You issue them an API key from the admin panel.
- They add your shop’s URL and that key to their own system.
Keys lock to one server, so no IP whitelisting
A key ties itself to the first server address that uses it. Nobody has to send you an IP address to whitelist, and a stolen key is useless from another server. If a reseller moves to a new server, you clear the address from their API settings in the admin panel and the next call from the new server sets it again. You can also issue a new key with one click.
What resellers pay
An API order costs exactly what the same customer would pay on your storefront. Prices follow the customer group the account is in, and the balance is charged when the order is accepted. Because the service list a reseller pulls carries their own group’s prices, their site marks up from what they really pay you. You never have to send anyone a separate price list.
Refunds and records
An API order is a real order. It goes through the same supplier routing and the same cron job as any other, and when a supplier rejects it, the reseller’s balance is restored and a statement line is written automatically. Every request and answer is kept in the API log, which settles most "where is my order" questions in a minute.
Limits worth knowing
- The service list can be pulled once every five minutes. Account info, placing orders and order status are not limited. Tell resellers to sync on a schedule, not on every page view.
- There is no separate test mode. Test against a low-priced service on your own shop.
Notifications
A new API connection, a supplier error and a finished order can each reach you on Telegram, WhatsApp or email. That way you hear about a reseller’s problem before they have to tell you.
Before you open your API to others, make sure your own supplier connections are solid. Connecting suppliers covers that.
